Road Traffic A report was received in relation to a vehicle having collided with another vehicle and the driver of the offending vehicle leaving the scene without making efforts to trace the owner/driver and exchange insurance details. Enquiry conducted and no suspect identified. Police Officers on mobile patrol in the area stopped a vehicle driving in the dark with defective headlights. Driver was issued with an instruction to have the vehicle repaired within 21 days. Incidents of Note The A81 was partially closed for a few hours whilst emergency services deal with a non-crime/no injury road traffic collision. A search and rescue operation was launched from Queens View Car Park in relation to three lost walkers. Thankfully the walking party were quickly traced by Lomond Mountain Rescue Team and taken back to their vehicle. No injuries reported.
