Community Empowerment and Renewal Bill
The proposed Community Empowerment and Renewal Bill will support communities to achieve their own goals and aspirations through taking independent action and by having their voices heard in the decisions that affect their area.

The Community Council is wishing to take every opportunity to sound out peoples views on two issues:
- Developing safe walking and our network of footpaths and cycle-paths.
- The possibility of using the ‘Toilet Triangle’ land for the benefit of the community.
Community Emergency Plan
Following the problems in 2010/11 with the heavy snow, the CC has now produced a Community Emergency Plan The map from this plan is particularly useful
Community Action Plan 2011
The Community Council circulated a letter requesting comments on the amended draft community action plan during August 2011. This report gives the result of the survey where 102 residents gave their views.
At the meeting of the CC on 5th September 2011 it was agreed to present the plan the Stirling Community Planning Partnership. It was made very clear that any proposals arising from the plan will be subject to further community consultation. The CPP Discussion Document is here and the presentation is here
Strathblanefield Community Development Trust supported by the Community Council were due to present the plan to Stirling’s Community Planning Partnership Chairman’s group on Friday 9th December. As there were a number of apologies given by some of the chairs it was decided to send in our plan and presentation and to request that the chairs look at our plan and our priorities and come back to us sometime in the New Year.
