A vandalism has been recorded following extensive damage caused to the interior of an Air B&B in the village by persons renting the property. Enquires are still ongoing. Assault A person was arrested, cautioned and charged after they punched the victim to the head and presented a knife towards while staying within a hotel in the area. All persons involved were known to each other. The offended was held as a custody to appear at Court the next day. Computer misuse A crime under the computer misuse act has been recorded after a local resident replied to a spam email purporting to be from Outlook requesting the victim sends his emails address and password, with they did. The suspect thereafter emailed all the victims contacts asking them to send digital gift cards. Fortunately, no persons sent any money, and the victim has been provided with suitable security advice. PC Darren Gibson joins the Forth & Endrick ward community Policing Team. He comes with 11 years’ response policing experience having spent most of his service within the Callander / Stirling area.
